The Art of Recycled Junk

Tom Deininger’s art installations which are made from junk are possibly the most creative visions you’ll see this year. Born in Boston in 1970, Deininger who says ‘He’s mostly Irish’ has since set up in Newport, Rhode Island where he began recycling found objects into art.

Have a look at the ironic Bunny Rabbit which is made of the ‘fluffy’ filters of cigarettes and the fly-on-the wall videos of the Marilyn Monroe and Angelina Jolie installations on his website.  I especially like the video on the site where he morphs into Michael Jackson and back again. An artist definitely thinking outside the box.
